Personal Profile –

I graduated from Piedmont High School in 1987. While in high school I worked in the painting and construction trades. Upon graduation I obtained a contractors license and started a painting company. I painted until 1992 when I came to Southern Oregon University. I had been coming to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival with my family since I was young. I loved The Rogue Valley and felt that both the school and the community had a lot to offer.

I graduated from Southern Oregon University 1995 with a degree in Business - Sales & Marketing. I got my Real Estate License in 1996 but soon after had a business opportunity in California. I went to work for Precision Simulation Inc. a graphic design firm specializing in the fledgling business of courtroom graphics and computer animations. As the Sales & Marketing Director I was instrumental in increasing sales from $80K to $1M in 5 years.

In 2003, my wife, Rogue Valley native, Susan Broomfield and I decided it was time to return to the valley to put down roots and start a family. We love living in the valley because of the great people, bicycling, skiing, culture and best of all the relaxed quality of life.
